Lockdowns + Mental Health

Updated: Feb 14

This is what my lockdown office looks like... not a bad view, tasty croissants and sunshine.

I'm also alone for 90% of my day.

The only chance I get to socialise is collecting my coffee each morning and hoping I run into a few locals to chat.

While I enjoy my independence - isolation can feel like a slow boiling frog.

A Zoom wave isn't the same as laughing in someone's company.

This is a gentle reminder to all of us, particularly men, to place your self-care and mental health first.

These are atypical times and the full effects are yet to be understood, but the thing most likely to harm us, is silence.
